Cummins ISB4.5 Engine Overview
The ISB for 2007 runs cleaner, delivers better performance and maintains fuel economy comparable to EPA '02 compliant and certified engines. Ratings range from 200-325 hp. Plus, with an integ
rated compression brake as standard equipment, it even stops better. How did we make so many improvements and still meet stringent emissions controls? With a totally integrated system that includes our proven cooled-EGR subsystem, a High Pressure Common Rail fuel injection system, our patented VG Turbo, Cummins Particulate Filter and a crankcase ventilation system.
And these are just a starting list of some of the features. The ISB offers a choice of truck engines from 200 hp to 325 hp and a maximum 750 lb-ft of peak torque. These engines have the highest power-to-weight ratio in their class.
