The upgraded F2.8 comes with significantly more torque, more fuel-efficiency and quieter, more refined operation while retaining all the high-strength credentials of the proven four-cylinder base platform used worldwide.
Smart Electronics: Uses the same electronic control module (ECM) as larger Cummins engines, giving faster processing, larger memory capacity and telematics capability.
NanoNet® filters: Fully synthetic media captures and retains particles far more effectively than standard oil and fuel filters.
Constant torque: Less gear shifting and instant response as peak torque is maintained as a plateau right across the key engine operating range.
Enviroguard: Open crankcase ventilation filter system eliminates oil drips and aerosol emissions, requiring no maintenance.
