QSL engines combine advanced in-cylinder combustion technology and a High-Pressure Common-Rail (HPCR) fuel system to increase power and reduce emissions. QSL engines currently meet Tier 3/Stage IIIA emissions standards with an in-cylinder solution that doesn’t require complex add-ons. The advanced QSL engine platform will be carried forward with the addition of aftertreatment to meet Tier 4/Stage IV emissions through 2011 and beyond.
